Fastest copper test kit

KING LEAR
I have a older house with old copper pipes. My tank has tested for copper in the past due to a old ro filter. I just got a new ro/di from spectrapure today and I want to make sure Im using my fastest copper test kit right. Instructions leave much to room for error

It says fill the container to the line. Well theres 2 lines on the container.
one like a inch from the bottom the other close to the top.
When I test using the bottom line I get copper level of .15 out of my brand new ro/di unit. which is the same reading I was getting from my old unit.

When I fill the water to the top line I read clear, or zero. Which I hope is the true reading.

Could someone shine some light here on this for me.
Thanks Erik

The reason I tested for copper in the frst place was due to sps having white tips, not gorwth tips but the coral dying from the top down.
Dan at salty critter ran my water through a bunch of tests and all was good till he tested for copper. That was 6 months ago. Now Im running into the same white tip issues on a few sps. SO i bought the better ro/di unit to fix the bad water issues.
Ugh
Thanks for any help
Erik

fill it to the top line on the test kit the one catch is that you have to read it with natural sun light or uv lights. U cant read it on a regular light bulb.
