Fat fish but 1 skinny Goby

I am pretty new to this hobby of only 2 years. I have a 90 gallon reef (though only 4 coral at the moment) anyway.. I have a pair of Diamond Gobies (whom I bought together and they never leave each others side. I'm guessing as they get older they will be a mated pair) well both eat a ton. Constantly sifting and picking. I feel pellets in the morning with flake (which they gobble up) and in the afternoon a mix of mysis with bloodworms (which they gobble up). All my fish in the tank are fat as can be but 1 goby. The smaller one. He looks so thin compared to his partner. The LFS told me to treat with PraziPro, which I did suspecting it might be an internal parasite. I just added a second treatment yesterday since she/he still looks thin. Any other advice?

Thank you for the add too. I'm excited to learn a lot more about this hobby.

Sometimes when a fish is eating well but not gaining weight, it is possibly internal parasites. Prazi works for this somewhat but it is not the recommended go to for internal parasites. Metroplex is.

It is reef safe when fed to fish but try and make sure corals do not gobble it up. What you need to do is add 1 scoop of metroplex, 1 scoop of focus, and 1 cube of frozen. Feed for 10 days.

A tell tale sign of internal parasites is white, stringy poop. Have you seen this at all? Also, diamond gobies are sand sifters by nature and receive their nutrition from the micro fauna in the sand. Even if he/she is eating, they could slowly be starving if they are not getting the proper nutrition.

Start with treating for internal parasites and try some live baby brine shrimp too. They are only nutritious for the first few days, they can also but gut loaded with selcon or vitachem for extra nutrition.

Best of luck!
