Fat v. Skinny

Question: Why is it sometimes my RTBA's tentacles will look fat and full and other times they look real skinny and alot of the body showing?

see how alot of the body is showing? I wish they were more fatter and bubblier.

It isn't a deflating thing. I feel like it depends if it is hungry or full. Could this be true?

I feel like the tentacles are fatter and more full when it is hungry and then more skinny the days following a feeding.



p.s.- is tentacle the right word to be using here?

in all seriousness though, The mother seems to have more bubbly tips. Is my theory about feeding true?

it looks healthy, not retracting or moving, just not thick bubble tips.
