Seems one of my lineatus fairy wrasses killed my helfrichi firefish.
I could cry...

Really??? How odd. My Lineatus are territorial, but only to new wrasses I try to introduce to the tank. They never bothered any of my Helfrichi's.

I feel your pain though.

I noticed his tail was getting picked on so moved him immediately.
In the qt I saw that he had a swollen red sore on a pectoral fin too.
He was dead this morning.

Next time, try to put your fish in a clear holding plastic container with holes poked through so that wtaer can freely flow through the container. I keep the container in the main tank for like a week so that all the fish can get used to the new fish I am about to introduce.

Its a breeder chamber/net.
You should be able to find one at any LFS.

they seem to be fighting for dominance now. the supermale got his rearend handed to him so he's in qt now. I only have 5 lineatus.
