Hello, i currently keep Fauchea sp in both my display tank and in my sump. It is a great looking algae but i find in my display tank, the lighting is likely accelerating its growth beyond certain nutrients or micro nutrients available in the water column. In the sump, which is at a much lower light thresh hold, it is a fully coloured deep red. I tried my finding an answer as to possible deficiency's but all i could find was people talking about it dying, and it definately is not, it still grows like a weed.

notice the clear/white lines through the growth pattern, they do not exist in the refugiums portion
