I've had this Favia for about 3 months now and over the last two weeks the sides have started to turn bright green, looks like it's dying? Anyone know what's happening?
This is just a suggestion because I don't know what type of favia that is, but it looks like it could have been dyed. IMO, if it was dying the tissue will turn white not green. Maybe the experts will chime in soon. Just my 2 cents.
Don't move it, that green means it's happy and coloring up, and it's going to look really awesome. Eventually the whole thing will be red with metallic green around the corallites, they're called xmas favias.
