Favia Coral and mounting for future fragging

So I have a favia coral in my display tank, that is currently mounted to a frag plug. I want to mount in to the live rock so that I can let it grow over the plug and onto the rock, my only thing is I would like in the future to frag it out when it gets large enough. Any ideas on how to mount it to accomplish that?

If the favia frag has not heavily encrusted into the plug yet, I'd see if I could pop it off cleanly in one piece if possible. Then find a crevice in the live rock (with the right lighting & flow characteristics) and mount it there, with the coral flesh roughly flush with the surface of the rock. New polyps should grow outward if it's needs are being met. Feeding should help growth too.

To grow the biggest patch in the shortest time period, mounting several drags a few inches from each other works well. They will grow together making for a big impressive looking colony. But it may look so good you won't want to drag it up!
