Favias can get stressed by strong light. I learned this even with T5s. The colors will become muted & feeding tentacles will come out less, or not at all. Try moving them to lower levels or even position them vertically. They can also suffer in slow flow areas and I think medium flow is best. The only one I ever lost was on the sand bed in a low flow area & perhaps the sand had something to do with it too.
Mine really took off once I mounted them in the right place as opposed to moving them around on the rocks & to & from a frag rack. They also benefit from feeding of smaller planktonic goods & minced mysis & other meaty foods. Low calc, alk & mag could be a factor as they are stony corals. Keep these at typical reef levels. Best of luck.
