Hi there,

I have a favia, and I have had it for a few months, and I have noticed that where the channels were a tan/orange when I first brought him it is turning white, and I have notice a brownish colour around some of the heads at the bottom on the coral. At night when his feeder tentacles are out they are more like short thing string, when before they were long an plump is this a bacterial infection?

I don't like the sound of the white lines. A couple of pictures would be helpful.

I have actually move it to the corner of my tank where its shader and within the last 24hrs the colour is returning.

Sounds like too much light, good plan moving it into a more shaded area my guess is that'll fix it up
