never even herd of that ocellaris clown, going to check that one out..lol

See the small pic in my avatar? That is an ocellaris (false clown). most of them are tank raised. They are one of the most hardy, and least aggressive of the clownfish. I have 2. They are my fav.

I have a pair of true percula clownfish and I think the female can be aggresive. I see her swim over to the chromis hide out and bug the hell out of them for no reason and then swim back to her coral.

Who can resist a copperbanded butterfly fish that is actually eating frozen? They zig. They zag. They nip LPS when you're not looking...

Anyone have experience with those smaller hogfish? Like the Candy Hog Wrasse, Peppermint Hog, or Candy Stripe Hogfish as seen on Marinecenter?

I'm a blenny fan. My bicolor has great personality and is no trouble.

My favorite was a breeding pair of true percs I had about 10 years ago. I guess these days they would be called onyx clowns. Never had the time or resources to raise the fry.

As far as the small hogs, they are a bit shy, but pretty hardy. I find they usually do well.

My fav was my Midas blenny....RIP buddy....

Awsome personality, loved how he would back up into his little caves. Poor guy ended it all and jumped for it, hes missed.

Hmmmm let's see :D

Some of my favorite fish are

White Stripe Maroons
Lemon Peel Angels
Blue Girdled (majestic) angel
Achilles Tangs and Atlantic Blues
Lawnmower Blennys
Copperband Butterflys

:D

Flame Hawkfish. Have him in my 75g reef. Doesn't bother corals, other fish, crabs, etc.

He perches at the front of the tank quite a bit and I love how he will stay in one place and move his eyes around and watch you as you walk by the tank. Pretty cool.

wow, thats cool, flame angels are great lookin fish. i want to see some pictures, lol, post some pics people...lol, plz....also has anyone knoticed any personality differences between community and aggresive fish?

well i'm surprised no1 has mentioned it yet, but my 2 favorite fish are (trigers and Lions)

Specifically the Crosshatch Trigger, and Black Viol Lions

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, this is a tough decision. I suppose my all time favorite is, believe it or not, Niger Triggers. I have had two and I love the way the edges of their fins iridesce when they are all spread out, also lots of personality but not as aggressive as other triggers. Sadly I cannot have another until I get rid of the gigantic mean evil crab from hell that has killed the other two. The other fish never get bothered by it, I think the triggers would get spooked by it and wedge themselves into the rock, making themselves easy pickings for the crab, the other fish just swim away from it. However, I like the crab, talk about personality, this guy has it! This is a FOWLR tank BTW.

As for the fish that are actually alive (LOL) I LOVE my four Azure Damsels. They are absolutely gorgeous small fish that tend to school in the tank and dart about quickly. They are also not nearly as aggressive as other damsels; in fact they leave everything alone, including each other for the most part.

I tend to like a reef tank stocked with lots of small, colorful, and active fish than a few larger fish.
