I know that the coral beauty is a very shy fish at first but once it is accustomed to you being around it, it will come out more and more! As far as the Midas blenny i have never had one, but maybe someone else will chime in and help you! HTH
i had a coral beauty and it loved to swim in and out of the rocks picking food off of them and it got used to my false perc. clown and they started to hang out together... the beauty died though, got ick and i couldn't catch him... oh well.... my clown is still ok, cost less but i have had him longer....
i got a new manderin dragonet...i dont have a refugium but i have a 54 gallon tank stuffed with lr... im going to make an in tank refugium by stacking small peices of rock... the only other compitition for food will be a six line that i have... hope they'll get along and be ok...
wow, thats a nice tank, u sure have some room to work with... hahah, have fun fillin that with lr, and friend of mine has a pistol shrimp in with his goby... they share the same home... so go for it...
I am really in love with my gold striped maroon clownfish. I hear maroons can be aggressive(even the gold striped ones), but mine is really quite shy. I love the way he seems to just glide through the tank.
One of my favorite fish is the blue hippo tang. The colors are spectacular. Someday when I have a bigger tank(I only have a 60 gallon) I would definitely cosider this beautiful fish.
the color in maroon clowns is really great... really dark.. i really like the hippo tangs too, if i had a large tank i would have a good number of blue hippo tangs and yellow tangs, they really seem to look good together
