Favorite Macro lens??

What are some of your favorite macro lenses? It doesnt have to be Canon, but I do shoot with Canon DSLR's, so it will have to be EF mount?????

I'm curious too...I have the standard lense package with my Nikon D80, but can't get the super macro shots that I'm seeing here without spending a lot of $$$.

Canon, Nikon, Sigma and Tamron all have capable macro lenses. For tank work, ~100mm gives a pretty decent working distance. I like the Canon because it's internal focusing.

I like the Sigma 150.

Canon 100mm. I love the MP-E 65mm, but it has very limited applications with the aquarium because the working distance is very close.

how important is internal focus on a macro lens?

It makes it much easier to handle, because the lens doesn't grow as you change focus. So, if you're shooting off a tripod right up against the glass, it's a big pain to change lens length.
