Favorite Overflow Design?

i'm looking to have my next tank drilled and i was wondering what are some of the popular choices? center overflow? corner? etc...

Center overflow with Herbie or Bean Animal drain design.

Just do a center overflow. 2 1.5" drains/dursos, 1 3/4 return split with a lockline Y with flares

Or the glass holes 1500gph kit.

Don't drill any bottom holes unless they're enclosed by an overflow chamber.

those pipe dimension aren't universal for all tanks, are they?

pretty much, unless very small or very large. a safe ratio.

if smaller, could do 2 1" drains, 1/2" returns.

a ratio of twice as much drain as return is a good safe one.

always have 2 drains.
