Feather duster advice

I really want one of these but I don't want to rush into things. My lfs says I should be fine with one but I have learned to be wary. My 14 gal biocube has no extra flow, but I should be able to find a good spot with high current. He said to just bury the end in the sand and leave it. Good advice? I feed my tank phytoplankton twice a week and turn the skimmer off for 1/2 to 1 hour. There's usually detritus in the water because my pistol shrimp digs all day. Any info or advice would be much appreciated!

They are pretty hardy animals for the most part and really don't need a lot of flow...as filter feeders they need some of coarse, but gently flow is fine...just burying the tube in the sand works fine...I don't ever feed any phyto to my tanks...cleaning the glass and stirring the top layer of the sand normally provides enough food for feather duster worms.
