Feather duster out of its tube - any hope?

Hi again, all!
Did a dumb, stupid move today while moving a piece of live rock - in doing so my feather duster came out of its tube. Freak accident. The worm is actually attached to the rock now, but I did NOT remove the tube from the tank. I placed it about a half inch away from the animal. It still has its crown and the plumage is full.
My question is: is there any hope for it? Should I wait it out?? Or should I cut my losses??

:sad2:

How would you cut your losses? Just kill it?

Give it time it will likely rebuild it's tube slowly and be fine.

Thanks Ztous!
Like I said, he's firmly attacked to the rock where it meets the sand bed where he can't be easily picked at.
I'll just leave him be and see what happens!
I'll keep up with the PhytoFeast too!
Thanks again!
