Feather Duster Question

Hi,

I hope this isn't a completely foolish question.

I just got two feather dusters and after I acclimatized them, I positioned one between two small rocks with its end in the sand. It looks great and is standing up with its crown extended.

I tried to do the same with the second one, but its tube seems almost bent in half it that makes any sense. So I rested it's head/crown on some small rocks and its end is in the sand. It's crown is also extended and it looks lovely. Is it ok for it to be leaning over like this?

You mean that the tube has a kink in it? I'd say let it be for now, you don't want to stress the animal too much by moving him.
