Once the fall off, how long does it usually take for them to grow it and come back out of their tube?

Mine took about a week when healthy, new shrimp were trying to eat it, it grew back quite a bit smaller and then got longer as time went on.

Cool, mine lost his about 4 days ago, hopefully its not dead and comes back out soon. ive had him about amonth and seem fine and healthy, no predators that i know of.
