Feather Starfish

Would anyone be interested in a red feather starfish? I got him in exchange for a mushroom colony at our LFS but came home only to find out through reading that it would not be sustained in our small aquarium. PM us and let us know- we want it to find a good home!! If possible, someone who has experience with them would be good!

Could you post pictures? I do not have experience with them but im doing the research i have a 125 Reef, with no star fish so far. Is it the same thing as a basket starfish?

Unfortunately there is no way to, it keeps saying the file is too big. There is a difference in the feather star versus the basket starfish. If you send me your email I can do that

Find a copy of the August issue of tropical Fish Hobbyist, it's on the cover and inside is a whole story about the impossibility of keeping this creature alive. I bought one at a local wholesaler back in April. A green one, I must say it was very strange to see it move around the tank on it's feathery legs. I kept it alive for 3.5 months by covering it at feeding time with a large glass bottle that had pods and Cyclop-eeze in it. But even with the "forced feeding" it's legs withered and eventually fell off 1 by 1:(

Yeah, i was there today, i saw it....Really really nice, i'd never seen a red one, i always see greens. Anyways...I read about them and they get pretty big and they arent very easy to keep, Best of wishes to Finz...
