Nitrate a nuisance? Phosphate a problem? Saltwater fish and invert keepers alike struggle with the adverse effects of these nutrients in their tanks.

Want a solution? Then the next SEASL meeting is for you!

Save the Date: Feb 12th ; 10 AM to 12 PM.
Hope Congregational Church, 4200 Brown Rd., St. Louis, MO 63134.

We'll be presenting information on one of the fastest growing saltwater husbandry practices---Solid Carbon Dosing (SCD)!

More information will follow, including details on great (SCD) products/reactors LFS's have donated for raffle.

As with all SEASL meetings, everyone is always welcome. Membership is not required to attend.

See you there!

I'll be there. Looking forward to seeing everybody again. :)

And I hope you're not expecting any "demonstration volunteers" when you say lots of audience participation. LOL

Looking forward to the next meeting. Gotta love this SEASL Club. People have you right into their homes for tank visits; fraggin' swaps at meetings; great raffles and the demonstrations from experienced fellow members !!!

Not to take away from the main topic of the meeting but; I have 5 Devil's Hand frags I will bring if there is any interest in them. They are not attached to anything, just in the sand. Easy to glue on a plug or rock. Free. Just let me know.

babybull,
In theory my cycle should be complete by then and I would love to add a frag to my tank. it will probably be my first add to the tank.

SEASL Meeting This Saturday
February 12th, 2011 –
10 AM to 12 PM

Want an efficient solution for controlling nitrates and phosphates?

Then don’t miss the SEASL meeting this Saturday!

The program for the February 12th meeting is “Solid Carbon Dosing.”

We’ll explain how it works, and how easily you can get started with this fast growing and highly promising way to control nitrates and phosphates.

We’ll have practical examples, SCD items for raffle, and plenty of time for those who have used the method to share their experience.

A big thanks to the following folks for their raffle donations. You’ll have a chance to win:

• Two TLS reactors from Joe Fazl at Seascape Studios,
• Phosballs media that will go with the two reactors from John McAvoy at Uberfrags, and
• Instant Ocean Natural Nitrate Reducer and wide variety of IO fish food from Velko Kostanjsek at Aquatic Treasures.

Where: Hope Congregational Church, 4200 Brown Rd., St. Louis, MO 63134.
