Welcome to hobby,
Families are always welcome, at any meetings, we have an east side meeting every other month, a prop auction the oposite month of the east side meetings and a west side meeting monthly. The west side meeting information will post on this site, the next West side meeting is Feb 23rd, the next prop is in March. All you have to do is whatch the site for information, there will always be a sign up for swap, and purchase about a week prior to the meeting.
All meetings are family friendly and a good time, come join the fun!

Hey Jonah--how would the 1+" frags of mint polyped blunt tipped bird's nest $10 do under my new HO T5 lighting? I have not had any luck with SPS, ever, but my new lighting is a huge upgrade. What do you think?

It does great under Tiff's t-5s, I think the greater issue is water quality. If you think you ready let me know, if you're not sure the blue tip or green stylo would be better to try first since these are the first two sps that survived in my tank. The bird's nest is fairly hardy though.
