Hey all!
Nick and I did a lot of back and forth before settling on our next meeting time and place. Here's what we're doing:
Where - The Pedersen Household, Duluth (East End)
When - Friday, March 5th, 6-9 PM (10 pm if we straggle)
Food - How does everyone feel about a Pizza Night perhaps (everyone just chips in $5 maybe?)? Or we can do potluck again (I have several good recipes). RVSP with your preference this week, and I'll let you know where the votes fall.
What - A couple fun things on the agenda:
1. Club Name and Logo - I got Jay's logo all done up, and Nick and I bantied around several names. I think we have winner, but we'll sit down upstairs and put it to a vote after reveiwing them on the TV
2. We'll look for a volunteer to host an April meeting, and we can talk about a calendar for the rest of 2010...
3. We should talk about the August caravan trip to the Drs. - I shot Jim G. an email about that today as he has "the in" over there
4. I'll give my Fish Breeding 101 presentation...most of you have perhaps already seen it, but for those that haven't, time to get schooled!
5. We can then go downstairs and check out all the tanks and the baby clownfish (I have 2 day old Onyx Percs today, and if all goes well, our first Black Ocellaris batch will be hatched and growing too). Time wise you might even get to see the Angelfish or the Mandarins spawn (it's a nightly routine, happens between 9-10 PM usually)
That's the plan...RSVP this week with your preference for food (pizza vs. pot luck) and I'll get you an address. Questions, call my cell - 847-732-7333. We have some chairs (8 if you include the two bar-high chairs) so might not hurt to bring a few along, just in case.
