my tank has been running for over a year now. and evertime i test my params i have no ammonia, nitrates or phosphates. ph 8.4

I did the no lights out for 3 days (covered the tank with a sheet) skimmed wet, it came back a few days later (not as bad) i have done that about 3 times in about 2 months, and my tank is looking much better, i have litte algae, i feed now about every 2-3 days, helps out a lot.

well i just went and started the whole no lights thing. hoping this works.... wish my tank luck.
