Feed Mode / Cleaning

SALT WATER CRAZ

New member
I am wating for my new driver. But hears my scenario lets say I want to clean my glass where my pumps are, or clean the wet side of the pump. So I take the pump off the glass and clean the glass where the pump was and clean the wet side. The driver shuts down the pump, After cleaning the glass I put the pump back on the glass and do a ruff alignment on it. Than I
need to start the pump so I can fully align the pump after cleaning.

On the new drivers will the feed mode button also work as a reset button on the pump so I we will not have to unpluge everthing to get the pump going again?

Or was there something incorporated in the new driver to do this easyer than have to unplug everthing hooked up to the driver so thay can do the final alignment to the pump?

(On the old driver I would have to get in my 36 inch deep stand and unpluge the power to my drivers, and unpluge my battery back ups so I can do my final alingment on the pumps...It would be nice to just hit a button to do this.)

Feed mode reduces the pump's output to the minimum speed- it does not turn the pump off. Also, there's still no switch on the driver box so unfortunately you'll still have to unplug the pump to maintain it.

We are sorry for this inconvenience but we felt it makes the most sense for our application.

Bummer its to bad the beta testers didnt think of this when thay where testing them. I cant see how it would be hard to have put a reset button on them, or even a incord reset button to kill power to reset the pumps.

I will just have to put them on there own power strips. So I can reset them ASAP to do the final alingment on the pump after cleaning them or cleaning the glass.

Its not that big of a deal. A extra power strip will work but it will be added cost and more cords under the tank.

I am sure I am not the only one thinking about this and how much easier for the user it would be.

thanks
