Feed Reactor From Return

I am in the process of plumbing my tank and I have a question. I bought some gate valves to plumb potential future additions that would be fed from my return pump. I am struggling in my mind to see how this would be plumbed. Does anyone have any pictures or can help me understand? Thanks!!!

It's a little hard to see in the picture but I tee off the vertical return line, the tee runs behind the emergency drain line, then turns 90 towards the front of the tank to feed my reactors. The return lines have green tape on them for identification.

It may not be pretty but you can see the gate valve after the manifold tee. I used check valves on each leg. Also don't use a gate valve on the drain line unless you have a emergency(2nd) drain line. P.S. After the grun photo I'm going to tackle cord management next weekend.

So my return line is 1" and the reactor lines are much smaller. Where did you get the adapter or pieces to fit those?

Any hardware store will carry the PVC fittings to get you from 1" to 1/2". Some hardware stores also carry plastic tubing along with the adapters and fittings you require, but you may need to order them from someone like Marine Depot or Bulk Reef Supply if your hardware store does not have them.

Wow. Very neat and tidy. Good job, Sir!
