How much do you feed your Haddons anemone? Please be as specific as possible.

How much?
How often?
What kind of food?

Thanks,
Doug

My blue is very small about 2.5 inches across. I've only had him for about 3 weeks.

I have feed him once a week, half a cube of frozen formula one food. In between the week I feed him small granule pellets.

I have 2 haddoni, a green and a blue. The green is about 14" and the blue is about 10". I've had them for over a year now.

I feed them both a minimum of every other day, usually a whole silverside. The green will also take frozen raw shrimp once in a while but the blue doesn't seem to care for it. . .go figure.

:D

I have an 8" Green that I feed twice a week...one feeding is a Formula 1 cube and the other feeding is 1 silverside.

My green carpet is approximately 11 inches in diameter. I feed it twice a week. I buy different filets from the grocery, such as salmon, and feed it about a 1 inch size cube of meat. It quickly grabs the fish from the tongs and moves it quickly and decisively toward its mouth.

It is amazing the holding force these animals have. Once it grabs a piece of fish, it would be difficult to pull the fish away from the anemone.

Here's a picture.
