Feeding a six line wrasse

Hey all,

I am new to this. I recently got a six lined wrasse as the first fish in my 29 gallon Biocube. He is soooo pretty. However, I have been trying to feed it marine carnivore pellets, but I never see him eating it. What else should I try?

It is in a month old tank, 30 lbs live rock.

Thanks!

Bobby

Mine loved live brine shrimp it is was also constantly eating stuff off the rock and out of the sand. At least until he decided to jump out of the back of the tank.

+1 on the mysis, you can also try flake food. In my experience the pellet food sinks to fast.

I believe petco has it not sure on petsmart. It comes in small frozen cubes, so look for the freezer. Also since you only have the one, six line you won't need the entire cube so you can cut a chunk off.

I feed mine on rotations.

One day I'll feed a cube of mysis, the next some soaked freeze dried plankton/krill, the next some cyclopeeze, and then repeat.

But once a day feedings have worked fine for me over the past 2 years or so.
