feeding acans?

Was wondering what the best food to feed acans? I would like hear what other people are feeding methods are. As of now i target feed them with mysis shrimps every other day with a turkey baster.

is it better to feed cyclopeeze at night since their feeder tentacles are out when the lights are off. Do u need to target feed using cyclopeeze since they are tiny particles or can i put a cube of it in the return and let the acans eat naturally.

I've fed cyclopeeze during the day. Most corals will open with food in the water. I also target feed, but I am curious if it's really necessary. The fish are catching on to the idea, and are practically stealing everything but cyclopeeze. I guess the corals can eat the cyclopeeze faster.

cyclopeeze is great to feed, i find even with the pumps off a lot floats away from their mouths. Occasionally I blend it into mushed uncooked shrimp for a meater food. I wouldn't do this everyday though as its quite messy.

Feeding in the morning is best or at least if the lights have been off several hours they really extend themselves them. PE mysis is the other thing I feed.

Finely chopped mysis with cycopeeze and some coral frenzy sends them bananas but do it at lights out so the fish/inverts dont get too interested.....
