feeding anemone

Well, from my expierence my anemones prefer tiger shrimp pieces (fresh), it's meat is easier to digest rather than whole fish. Other than that, there could be other causes:
1) Anemone is not than hungry
2) Silverslide is too big for an anemone
In any case, remember that anemone will spit it's food out, and it will never be completely digested - it's the way anemone's digestive tract works. However, it will not happen after several hours, 12-16 hours is more common.

I was wondering about the shrimp or prawns. I've understood that brine shrimp have little food value. Is this correct? Surely it is not true of the larger shrimp is it? The tiger shrimp must have food value?
And then in the case with the silversides, maybe size is the issue then eh? Perhaps if I break up the fish into pieces and smash them up a bit? That is what I did the first time I fed this fella and he seemed to process better as I did see him expell waste.
A large portion of the bag does look like it has freezer burn. I think I'll buy a fresher bag. Maybe that will help too, eh?

Just a small useful reminder. Its best to do small feedings than one large one. Thats what I have heard from others and from what I am experiencing.
