Feeding Anthias

I just got three Lyretail Anthias. I usually feed my fish twice a day, FIVE days a week. On the two days I feed them once and sometime not at all.

Anthias, I read, are suposed to be fed twice, even three times a day. Do I continue my feeding schedule of five times a week, twice a day, and twice a week once a day, or do I have to feed them every day?

Thanks for the help. Here's a pic.

I have to feed my Anthias twice a day 7 days a week, anthias are very active fish and need lots of food to stay healthy. You could get them to learn to eat pellet and get a floating feed station with a battery operated feeder if you cant feed them all the time.

I don't have a problem feeding them twice a day. I was understood that feeding fish five out of seven days a week was optimum, and seven days a week was too much.

Everyone is doing great now, but I don't want the Anthias to be hungry unnecessarily.

So everyday, twice a day? Okay

Well, I sure am going to stop the third feeding. I tried giving them Ocean Nutrition Reef and Formula One -- The just swim by and ignore it. Everyone else eats it, but...

Maybe I'l stick with my orginal twice a day for five days, and once for the other two.
