Feeding Blue Linkia

My FOWLR tank is nine months old. My sister in law is visiting and noticed my blue linkia starfish is thinner then her last visit. Any tips on feeding the blue linkia? I am thinking of adding a refugium. Will that help feed the linkia?

Adding a refugium will make no difference to the star. They need large areas of mature LR to graze on. It's not something you can provide short term. They almost never take to any sort of supplimental feeding either. If you're already seeing visible differences in the star, there is a good chance it's already too far gone to save anyway.
