is it o.k. to hand feed bubble coral in a day time, when tenticals arn't out? i tryed it once, he took the food fast and now a week later doesn't look like there is any problem with him. but i don't want to push it. if it's not good for them to eat when their tenticals aren't out i won't feed him in a day time.

I fed my bubble, before it got too big and have to give it away, only during their daytime, never at night. Just use a turkey baster, some mysis and slowly shoot into the bubble where the mouths are. I found that mine had less longer tenticles during the day and more shorter tenticles at night. IMO I don't think it will matter butmight be easier when it's bigger during the day.

Be sure to cut the pumps to help it hang on to it's food.

I think you will find once the corals is just to the new time it will have it's tentacles out just after the pumps turn off. Also a good idea is to stimulate the tentacles to come out. A fine food for that is cyclopeeze (frozen). Just add a pinch and see what kind of reaction you will get. Mine always put out their feeders once the cyclopeeze hits the water.
