Feeding carpets.

Carpet owners; especially Haddoni. Just wondering how often do you feed these babies. Just got me a red Haddoni and been feeding it daily with silver sides and squid. Is that too much? The pig eats them everytime I feed.

I have two, yellow/green one and a blue one. I fed them about every two weeks or so. I don't feel the need to fed them daily, yours will grow huge if you do that. Plus going to increase the waste it produces, and will have to keep an eye on your water.

I really think you should cut back on your feeding a bit.

Yes, I think I am just gung ho right now with the new addition. I will cut it down to once a week. You don't think it will wander around in search for food if it is happy? Right now, it is in the same spot that I've dug a trench between a rock and sand.

I really don't think it will start to move if you don't fed it as much. Case in point, last month I had knee surgery and had some complications, I didn't fed either of my haddonis for over a month -- they are both still in the same spots. Excluding me changing something in the tank and upsetting them, mine never move. I've had my yellow/green one for 7+ years and it only moves when I do something.
