Feeding Corals?

Hey im a new reefer and is running a 20 gallon tank with T5s, I have a frogspawn, hairy mushrooms, and a colt also a green toadstool, I was wondering is feeding the corals a must or is it just to make growth happen faster or is light and regular water changes enough just asking because my mushrooms seemed to be acting weird. Any advice?

None of those corals need to be fed. As you mentioned they could grow a little faster if fed. More importantly is to keep good water conditions. What is your alk, cal?

calcium last time I checked was 390 and the alk was 10
