feeding corals

well atm I only have 1 zoanthid haha.... just in the future when I plan to have more I am curious to what it is I feed them... thanks!

Dissolved Organic Material. Bacteria in the water column as well. Rod's food has some good stuff in it, just watch out for the exoskeleton chunks. Some fish might try to eat it and choke. Golden pearls, reef roids, occasionally small additions of live phytoplankton. Just be careful not to overdo it. Simply feeding the fish might be enough in many cases.

If you purchase sun or black sun corals, they need to be fed with a turkey baster or a medicine dropper one polyp at a time often. I feed mine mysis and cyclopeeze. Flowerpots I feed phytoplankton. So the feeding depends on what type of coral you are interested in.

I am mainly going to get LPS corals and clams aside from the fish adn shrimp I'll have in my tank.... I'm planning on the LPS because I plan on having a BTA which stay in the rocks usually and the LPS are in the sand.... thanks
