Feeding crabs, snails, and shrimp.

Are there any other things that turbos, shrimps and hermits eat besides algae?

Most of my algae is gone and I think they're getting hungry (my electric blue hermit is not pooping as much anymore).

I have an electric blue hermit, 5 turbo's, some other small hermit crabs, two emerald crabs, and a coral banded shrimp--I notice he may be hungry after picking at my anemone's tentacles

hi kingtoad, if you feed the fish in your tank and some of the food goes uneaten they will scavenge it for sure, no worries here. hope this helps you...

Be sure and place shells of different sizes in the tank for the hermits. It will keep them from killing the snails for their shells as they grow bigger.

I usually spot feed my shrimp, 2 skunks, 2 fires, 3 peps, and a pistol some frozen krill twice a week. The hermits usually pick up the left overs.

lol i have a 30 gal tank with 10 gal sump.... with 2 clowns and a yellow wrasse, 1 turbo, 3-5 asterna snails, 1 nassarius, 1 skunk, 1 peppermint that disappeared and comes out at night, and about 5-6 hermits. i plan on adding more hermits. LR, LS, and buncha LPS / softies and like 4 SPS. i dose phytoplex (kent) 2 times a week, sometimes once, and i feed my fish 3 times a week, sparingly. they are ALL doing fine, water quality is premium, and nothing is wrong. so dont worry about spot feeding, etc, etc.

i drop a few shrimp pellets in for my crew when algae is short. then they dont eat until it starts to grow again. 25 cerriths, 10 turbos, 10 nassarius, 10 astreas, 10 blue legs. with 60 lbs. LR. tosearch for food. they also LOVE cyclop-eeze.
