Hello everybody. This is my first post, so I wanted to use it to say hello to everybody, and also ask something we'll have to deal or have dealth with. How do you feed your fish while in vacation? I've a small, 50 gallon young reef, 1 jeweled eel, one tomato(about 2"), one singapore angelfish (about 3"), a couple of anemonees, and some small polyp colonyes. Also a couple of clenaer shrimps and several hermit crabs. My main concern are the eel and the 2 fishes. I'll be away for 3 days. Food is my only concern, as all the lights are on timers. What do you suggest? ask somebody for the favor??

Thanks for your help!!

Since you are only going to be gone for 3 days, I wouldn't worry about feeding. 3 days won't cause any harm, and some think that an occasional fast is actually good for them. The anemones will be more then fine (( mine are lucky to be fed once every 3 weeks )). The eel would actually be the least of my concerns, they can go longer then 3 days b/t feedings.

The thing I would actually be concerned about is tipping off, but that depends on how much your tank evaporates a day.

Toddrtrex is rigth, I only feed my tank every 3rd day regardless. you should have no problems with your fish.

Thank you guys, I feel much better now. My main concern were the 2 fishes, specially the clown, as the angel spend the day nipping at the rocks with algae. First and fourth day I'll have the chance to feed them, so I son't feed them for only 2 days.
