feeding frogspawn

i was wondering how/what does everyone feed their frogspawn. i have been dosing the tank with 1/4 teaspoon of zoo and 1/4 teaspoon of phyto. i am using the 2 little fishes spray dried plankton. i only dose once a week. but it seems to make my water a little murky for a while, and i have also been wondering if this has been contributing to my hair algae problems as it settles into the rocks. would it be best to use something else? or use the same, but just target feed with a turkey baster. i would love to hear all the options on how everone does it.

I have grown tons of frogies and have never fed anything to them...Just feed your fish and maybe some phyto once or twice a week depending on what you have in there...feeding too much phyto will only raise your nitrates and phosphates, which will contribute to hair algae.

I target feed feed all my LPS 1-2 times a week. I feed a homemade froze food thawed in tank water. It consist of mysis, brine, clams, squid, alage, phtyo, zooplankton, garlic and cyclopeze. I have been doing this the last month and a half and have seen new heads since then on almost everything. It takes a little more time but I think it is worht it for growth. But it is not required.

I target feed my frogspan mysis at least a couple of times a week. It has gone from 1 head to 4 heads in the last 6 months.

I feed about once to twice a week of mysis shrimp and frozen cyclopeeze. They love the stuff. But like stated I see great growth results with no feedings as well. To me prestine water quality and good lighting will give you better growth results then feeding will.

Mine eats Mysis like a champ! I know people keep them without feeding. But the bio- nerd in me says, "well, if evolution gave them a mouth that large it must be for something...." Feed mine once a week.

i'm glad to hear everyone's ways of feeding. this makes me lean towards not dosing plankton anymore. at least not weekly like i do now. i still worry about all the little pods and such. what will they live off of? just the nutrients and fish waste? i also have some xenia. i guess i could spot feed him with the baster.
