feeding? How often?

Hey guys I hope all is well.

I recently purchaced a crocea clam, about 3", and I was wondering how often to feed it. I have been feeding about 5 mL of live phyto a da y for it but I was wondering id this was enough. I know the little one's need fed a lot and was just curious if this was enough.

When I had small clams I used to put them in a separate container to feed them, then I would add a good amount of phyto (with circulation) and take them out after 30 minutes or so.
Are you just adding the 5mL of phyto to your tank?

Careful "target feeding" or over feeding. I Lost 2 Maximas from target feeding.

At 3" you should not have to feed. I have mine fairly high in the tank and does just fine without any target or tank feeding. Are you running MH light or other?
