feeding issues, help

Hi, im new to the hobby, ia have a 30gal long tank, an aquaclear 110 with chaeto on it, a ton of rock, the system is running was running about a month and a half when I throw my fisrt fish (past week), a blue damsel and is eating and fine, just hiding on the rocks, yerserday morning I put a new clown fish to the tank, is swimming up and down on the glass and is not eating at all, i gave him flakes and spectrum. My question: is this normal?? , what can i do???

Sometimes they get depressed for awhile after switching tanks. Make sure you're feeding the same thing they ate at the LFS to make sure he knows what it is. Did you see him eat before you bought him? If not he may be sick but that's not necessarily the case. It may just take a few days.
