Feeding My BTA

I have been feeding my BTA almost every day, however it still seems to be getting smaller. By smaller I mean that the tenticles are not as thick. It has a very good feeding response where the chuck of shrimp disappears within seconds. So, should I consider feeding more often, maybe even twice a day on some days?

I have a 75 with 220 W of VHO Actinic White and 220 W of VHO Super Actinic. The BTA moved to the bottom of the tank on the second day and has stayed there for the last month.

Specs: pH 8.1
Alk 3.0
Ca 380-400
Nitrate 1 ppm
NH3 0
Nitrate 0
Do not test for phosphate, silicate or iodine.
5 gallon water change weekly

Do you have adequate flow? All parameters seem fine

what is your salinity level??also what type of shrimp brine, mysis, or like a raw shrimp?? i would try feeding the BTA silversides, scallops, krill, squid, and clams.. see how it does with that..also maybe try a phosphate test just to be sure they are not high..as long as the disc is not getting any smaller i really wouldnt worry about it, i have two one has the bulb tips, and the other has very long skinny tentacles but they are both healthy..

you can feed it once a day or even every other day a small amount it.. wont hurt it, it will just help it grow faster.. i feed min everyday little bits of food and they are happy..

I believe I do. I estimate 700 gph. Also, there is more flow in other parts of the tank, so wouldn't my BTA move to a different location if it wasn't happy?

Salinity is 35 ppt I feed mostly raw shrimp a little scallop and it catches mysis and other bits that I feed the fish.

How long have you had it?

If oyu just got it its acclimating to the tank white stringy stuff, tentacles shrinking, mouth a bit exposed are all signs of an anemone adapting to its new environment.
