How often and how much should I feed my acans, favias, Duncan's, grape and frog spawn? I wasn't feeding them for a long time then was told I should and they will grow more. I give the Duncan and acans a couple pellets and they are gone in no time.
I usually feed some of the coral listed above once every 7-10 days. Either NLS pellets or live black worms.
I just bought a Duncan coral a few weeks ago, and while there's still only one head, I usually feed it two or three of the 2mm NLS pellets. This is plenty IMO.
I feed my lps 2-3 times a week. I have excess filtration for this purpose though. I target feed mysis, brine, rods, pellets, powder, krill, and Rotifers. Duncan gets large peices of krill 3x a week with anemones. Good luck
I've noticed my Duncans love ft brine and mysis shrimp. Just make sure your cleaner shrimp(if you have any) are busy or they will yank food from your lps. I tend to feed my 2 cleaners a piece of krill every time I have to feed my anemone.
I stopped feeding mine a long time ago and they grow well by just catching food from my broadcast feedings. When I did feed mine it was probably a pellet or two per mouth a week.
