The need to feed baby clams has been something that I'm really interested in. I currently have a maxima a little over an inch long that I have never directly fed. I add DT's a few times a week, but to the tank in general. So far I've had good results. The clam looks healthy and has put on about 4mm of new growth in about 3 months time, most of which has come in the last 2 months. Has anyone else had similar results? Have people kept track of growth rates of clams they have directly fed? I'm planning to do an experiment with 6 or 8 baby clams, some of which will be fed and some of which will not to see what the benefits are of feeding.
