Feeding my Valentini puffer

I bought some shrimp at the market today and want to feed them to my saddleback puffer, should I chop them up dirst with a food processor or drop 1 in whole or other method?

If you just rubberband one to a rock and drop it in, he will pick at it as he pleases. You probably want to cut it in thirds first and only feed 1/3 at a time... I doubt a valentini could eat a whole shrimp.

mine ate ocean nutrition formula one small pellet (1mm pellet). i would feed tiny pieces of shrimp one at a time. less mess.

My girlfriend has one that eats absolutely anything. Bits of meat tied to a rock, mysis, pellets, etc.
