Feeding new anemone

I have been feeding my new anemone for almost a week now everyday. My question is how long should I be doing this? I feed him silversides soaked in selcon everyday, he has taken everything I have given him. When should I stop this type of feeding?

thanks
Dave

I feed my nem every day as well. He is far from bleached and I have had him for months. What works for one persons nem doesn't work for the next and so on and so forth. My nem had originally belonged to another person and had went through a powerhead. I got a small chunk that was the size of my fingernail that had two tentacles attached and it is fine now and very large. What you are feeding is fine if it works for your nem especially if he "poops" every day. I feed a varied diet though consisting of any marine based foods I can find. As long as it is meaty chunks then it is suitable. Anywho here are a couple of pics of my nem that had went through straight up heck with that powerhead and has been very healthy since.

He looks good. I think I have seen mine poop once, and I came at the end of it. I just thought you feed them every day for 2 weeks when you get them and then slow it down. I will post some pics of him when I get home tonight. I bet you guys are sick of hearing about him lol :)

I feed mine every other day, sometimes once every three days. My reason for this is that the anemone will expel the waste product about 20-24 hours after you feed it. I try to make sure it has had time to remove the waste before putting more food back in the nem. This logic doesn't make me RIGHT but it seems to work for my nem. :)

Bump 1 more question when the anemone mouth is open is he wanting for or is this a bad sign? Its not open really wide just a little. What do you guys think?
