I have a pasific octopus and I feed it frozen krill, clam, and squid. Live wise I feed it ghost shrimp and black mollies is their anything else I can feed him I was thinking of a crab of some type.
I would stay away from freshwater fish but you can feed it crabs, crayfish, shrimp... seawater express has some nice large live P.vannamaei marine shrimp that would be perfect for cuttles and octos right now. They cater quite abit to public aquariums and the seahorse breeders but I have gotten plenty of my shrimp for my octos from them as well They can be reached at 1-702-561-5743
Fresh water fish can be bad for marine species because of the faty deposits in the fish. It will shorten the life span and even kill them if they are fed fresh water fish often enough. Once in a great while may be OK but any regular feeding of them is detramental. Mollies are one of the better ones but with the abundance of other foods out there, why bother....
