Feeding Poll

I feed 3 or 4 cubes worth of PE mysis everyday. I have 5 leopard wrasses, a Christmas wrasse, a Whitetail Bristletooth tang and a Copperband butterfly.

I try to rotate foods each feeding, but it usually is one of or a combination of formula one, NLS pellets, or prime reef flakes in the early am and early afternoon, either rods food or 1/2 Mysis in the later afternoon, and one of the dry foods towards the evening. I keep hearing folks talk about feeding more frozen so I may have to up my feedings since my colors are certainly lacking. 2 snowflake clowns, purple dottyback, 2 bangaii cardinals, 6 line wrasse, tomini tang, and foxface. Will be looking to add more fish here shortly....

Just curious.....sounds like a lot of feeding from what I usually here. How are your phosphates and nitrates?

Did you say you feed the corals as well?

phosphates always test out at zero on the hanna checker, nitrates are also zero according to api (I know, not the most accurate) but I have no nuisance algae other than the dusting on the glass that I clean off daily. I did start to slowly dose acropower, hopefully I'll see some changes here shortly.

Monti's seem to be better colored than the acros, lone frogspawn has lived but certainly doesn't thrive for the past year (thought I had too much flow and moved it too many times.) Acros for the most part suck, I have a tri color that has been tan but starting to get some purple in the tips, red dragon is more pink than when I got it, I don't even want to look at the red planet, yet I have an ugly green mille that appears to be loving life lol.

I was running carbon and gfo, took those offline and will be adding more fish. I was always one to freak out if I saw any algae anywhere other than the little bit that's on the glass. I've been convinced more of letting the cleanup crew do their job and keep the fish plump, which they are and quite frankly am tired of the foxface biting me trying to get to food :)

I like it when my foxface nibbles on my finger. Hand feeding the nori and sometimes he is nice and gentle other times it's like a feeding frenzy. Kinda like when you bite your finger when eating french fries, or is that just me?
