What is best to feed them and how often?

I feed mine mysis shrimp and rod's food twice a week, seems happy.

I feed mine silver sides once every one or two weeks.

When I've tried to feed them krill or formula one cubes, it seems like they expel them the next day, undigested.

Mine hold down silver sides till it comes out as goo, much later. I always assumed this meant they were digesting the fish completely.

I feed raw table shrimp chunks or silver siders chunks every 7-10 days and he does just fine. Same here with krill and F1, just spit it out.

I feed mine silversides. I've also fed it F1 and mysis in the past, with success at both. It does seem to prefer the silversides though.

a squirt of frozen brine shrimp once or twice a week directly into the anemone has always worked out just fine for me
