Feeding Rod's Food...

I bought (and won!) some Rod's Food at the Rockford Frag Fest... so, what is the preferred way of feeding this stuff to my fish and corals? Toss in a hunk, still frozen? Defrost in a cup of tank water, then pour in? Defrost, then use a turkey baster on my LPS & softies?

Just looking for a general rule of thumb... Maybe all of the methods are used...

That's what I do.

thanks. First lessons... Fish seem to like it, but there was a hunk of something in there that was just too big for anything to eat. I probably overfed. One thing for sure, though... my many bristle worms sure came out!!!

Should be fun to see how my tank reacts to this magic over the next few months.

Fish know when I'm getting out that baggie w/Rod's food in it, they rise to the top of the tank and almost squeel....feed me, feed me - then they get nice & fat & plump....very happy looking.....corals seem to grab onto food & self-feed. Good luck & enjoy your fish.

Mine also know the difference between the bowl of Rods Food and the flake canister. A couple of times I thought the fish were going to jump out of the tank in excitement. They have jumped out of the water, but have always landed back in the water.
