Hi!

I have a leftover of african cichlids spirulina sticks.

Can I safely feed it to my ocellaris as part of it's veggie diet?

Thank you for the inputs!

Clowns will eat just about anything. Spirulina sticks are probably a good thing to feed them as PART of a diet. Definately feed them meaty foods too.

Allright!

Yes of course I also feed it frozen brine shrimp and pellets from Nutrafin.

It's my first saltwater fish. I got it about two weeks ago and it begins to show some desease signs...

It has some (very few) white spots on the tail, fins and body which looks like ich and a rather "big" (1mm) black spot on a cheek.

The fish is still very active and eats a lot so I hope that by variying the diet for proper nutrition, it will heal by itself.

Anyways, thanks for the input.

No problem. I would really suggest feeding marine specific foods. Ocean Nutrition are my favorite prepared foods and they are not an expensive food. Prime Reef and Formula One are both excellent
