I just got a new sun coral last week and last night was the first time it actually opened up while I was feeding my fish. When I saw it opened I saw some spectrum fall on to one of the polyps and it opened and took it in! Is this ok for the coral? I sprayed some froozen mysis and live brine soaked in Vitachem there for it aswell but I was supprised it accepted the sprectrum! Is that ok for the coral? Also what does everyone else feed theirs? Thanks

frozen cyclopeeze soaked in selcon and zoecon or my pureed mix of squidd, clam, mussel, shrimp, and scallop. They love both. I used to feed mysis and krill also which they also loved.

my sun coral almost died it took so long to take food. but now its open during most of the day and realy pops out when it smells food. just the other day i fed it a ton of mysis, the next day it apeared to have thrown it up. im about to start useing cyclopeez.

i feed mine every other day. my fish get fed everyother day but i sneak them a few flakes in between feeding days though.
